It is a small family group that created a Cultural Center open to visitors in 2004 with the aim of promoting the Patax\u00f3 indigenous culture.<\/p>\n

In 2013, her main lack of income structure dropped her. Since she had to find ways to earn a living and many other people in search of employment and income Como, the Porto do Boi Cultural Center closed its doors.<\/p>\n

Today the current leader, Tig Maturemba Baix\u00ea, found the community and collaborators to help rebuild the center and revitalize the Patax\u00f3 Culture.<\/p>\n

Experience<\/h4>\n

By boat on the waters of the Cara\u00edva River, it is possible to reach the entrance to the community and cross a small trail between the Atlantic Forest and the Oca dos Rituais \u2013 a circular space where the presentations take place.<\/p>\n

The Porto do Boi Patax\u00f3 Cultural Center provides a cultural experience with the Indians, their rituals, handicrafts, typical foods, body painting and much more.<\/p>\n

Monday to Friday all day. On Saturdays, only in the morning.<\/p>\n
